How are you interested in getting involved?
Helps facilitate experiences through meetups that have a more intimate feel than socials. These events allow members to attend theater events, baseball games, wineries, etc. In addition, the Events Chair heads the Foot Rally committee, which is held every August.
This is where the magic happens. You bring members, a great location, some sort of edible food, and drinks into a pot and simmer for 2 hours. There is some work involved but it’s a skill that you’ll keep forever.

HELP WITH THE STEM SUMMIT: YYP is volunteering for the Junior Achievement STEM Summit at Central York High School from 7 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on April 11. The STEM Summit is a hands-on, day long program designed for 9th and 10th grade students to inspire them to persue careers in science, technology, engineering and math. During this day, YYP volunteers will work together with students and help them with a variety of fun activities. If you're interested or want more information, contact Kevin Forry at Kevin.email@example.com or 717-767-7501.
HELP OUT WITH THE BIG BED RACE ... WITHOUT HAVING TO RUN: Bell Socialization Services recently found out that a large group of volunteers who helped out last year with Bell’s Bed Race have had to rescind their offer to participate this year. YYP has been asked to jump in on this, particularly since it offers opportunities for members/family/friends to participate without needing to run. Bell could use people to assist on Saturday, April 21, with set up and directing bed drop-off traffic (6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) – 8 volunteers, race timers (8:45 to 11:45 a.m.) – 8 volunteers, and tear down (11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) – 8 volunteers. If you're interested or want more information, contact Kevin Forry at Kevin.firstname.lastname@example.org or 717-767-7501.
